I've been playing guitars since 1965 and own 6 electrics and one Acoustic. I happened upon Zager Guitars by accident when I googled Zager and Evens after hearing their hit 2525 in XM radio. The ZAD 50 Acoustic Dreadnought is a great musical instrument and it rivals much higher priced Taylors, Gibsons, Ovations and Martins.

The Zager guitar line is made in Lincoln, Nebraska in the USA. That usually means you're going to pay at least a grand. I opted for no pickups. They do, however, offer electronics on both of their main models.

The Zager guitar is beautiful. It has a solid cedar top and rosewood back and sides. Golden grover tuners and a gorgeous abalone inlay also add to its looks and overall presence.

Zager guitar has a very bright, crisp, beautiful tone. Deep lows and aggressive mids and highs, it really sings! The guitar resonates and has great projection.
